    Indian Institute of Management Calcutta invites sealed auction bids in plain papers from intending agencies for sale of different type of scrap materials extracted from old buildings and structures of its campus at Joka. The scrap materials are presently stacked in IIMC campus at Joka site.

    Terms and conditions:

    1. Bid against the above auction sale should be as is where is basis.
    2. Reserve price of the above materials is Rs. 20.54 lakh.
    3. Rates should be quoted for the entire stacked materials mentioned above. Part rate or conditional rates will be not be considered for acceptance.
    4. Caution money to be deposited along with the offer is 25% of the total offered value in the form of Bank draft drawn in favour of IIMC Construction Works Accounts.
    5. Without Caution money no auction bid will be considered and the bid will be rejected summarily.
    6. Contract will be awarded to the highest bidder. However IIM Calcutta reserves right to reject any or all bids without assigning any reason thereof.
    7. Auction bid to be submitted in sealed envelope super scribing on the top “Auction sale of scrap materials in IIMC’ and to be deposited in the tender box in the office of Executive Engineer, IIMC, Joka within 10 days from the date of publication of the notice in the newspapers (ABP & TT)
    8. Balance amount of auction bid to be paid by the selected bidder within 5 days from the date of receiving the acceptance order from IIMC in the form of bank draft payable in favour of IIMC Construction Works Accounts.
    9. Failing on the part of selected bidder to deposit the balance amount within the specified date will liable themselves for cancellation of contract and in that case the caution money deposited against the auction bid will be forfeited in the credited of IIMC.
    10. Successful bidder should arrange the shifting of the auctioned materials immediately on receipt of the written order for such shifting and complete the full shifting at his own cost with 15 days from the date of written order from IIMC.

    Intending bidders having adequate experience in the respective field and financial solvency are requested to visit the stack yard of IIMC Engineering Division to inspect the material between 2-0 p.m. to 4-0 p.m. in working days (Monday to Friday).

    Sealed tenders in two bid system (two separate envelopes one for techno-commercial bid and the other for price bid) are invited from bona fide and experienced vendors having adequate credential in similar nature of work for the following jobs:

    (a) Supply of two Internet Lease Lines (at least 320Mbps (1:1) and 14 Mbps (1:1)) for three years through underground FO cable terminating to vendor’s MUXs. From MUX, UTP cable will be connected to Layer 3 switches of the institute LAN.

    (b) Development, installation, commissioning and maintenance of modules for Payroll /PF /Pension/Income Tax/Loans & Advances and seamless integration with the existing FAAS.

    (c) IIMC intends to enlist vendors for supply of IT related products and services for a period of three years (for orders upto Rs. 1.5 lacs per order).

    Intending vendors are required to purchase tender documents for (a), (b) and (c) separately containing detailed requirements which may be obtained on any working day between 10-00 a.m. and 4-00 p.m. from the office of the Computer Centre on payment of non-refundable tender fee of Rs 2500/- for tender (a), Rs 2500/- for tender (b) and Rs. 250/- for (c) by demand draft in favor of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta and payable at a Bank in Kolkata.

    10 The ISP should have a fully functional Customer Service Centre in this region which is operational 24/7.
    11 The bidder should have Total aggregate Backbone capacity of more than 1500Gbps.
    12 The ISP should have fully resilient and self-healing network architecture, on fiber medium, for the domestic backbone up to the international gateway in India
    13 The ISP should have centralized trouble ticketing tool for call logging, monitoring and Troubleshooting purpose
    14 ISP should not be Blacklisted in any PSU OR Govt. Organization in last three years
    15 ISP Should have 50+ Peering partners globally provides routing flexibility
    16 ISP Should support port speed up to 10 Gig of capacity
    17 ISP Should have ISO 27001 Certified

    6 The tenderer should possess sufficient experience of executing assignment which involves process improvement of financial processes and should show five such assignments in the last five years.

    The detailed Tender Documents can be obtained from the Office of the Senior Administrative Officer (Purchase), IIM Calcutta on payment of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) (Non-refundable) by Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Indian Institute Management Calcutta”, payable at Kolkata. The Tender Form may also be downloaded from the Institute’s website: www.iimcal.ac.in. In such case, the cost of Tender Documents of Rs.500/- by DD drawn in favour of “Indian Institute of Management Calcutta” must be submitted along with the bid.

    The bidders having due credentials and adequate professional experience and who meet the following criteria will be considered for the above work for a period of two years.

    2. 5 years experience of work in providing similar services to Public Sector Companies/ Govt. Departments/Research Organizations/Reputed Private Sector Companies etc.
    3. Annual Turn-over – Rupees Five Lakh or above.
    4. Minimum 5 (five) Xerox machines in the name of the Firm/Vendor/Contractor.
    5. Office should be located within 5 Km. from IIMC Joka Campus to meet urgent requirement and delivery.

    Interested Service Providers may put bid document, complete in all respects along with Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) amounting to Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) by DD and other requisite documents in the Tender Box kept in the Office of the Senior Administrative Officer (Purchase) located in Administrative Building, East Side (Ground floor), Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, Joka, Kolkata-700104 on 14th July, 2015 by 3.00 p.m. Tender received without EMD will be rejected straightaway.

    The tender will be opened by the Tender & Disposal Committee on 14th July, 2015 by 3.30 p.m. in the presence of Tenderer or their authorized representative, if any. The tenders which are not supported with required documents, will be summarily rejected.

    In case the last date of receiving/opening of the tenders coincide with a holiday, then the next working day shall be the receiving/opening date.

    IIM Calcutta reserves the right to accept/reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof or may relax the criterion as per requirement.
