From the toothbrush you pick up first thing in the morning to the whisky you might nurse before dinner, there is a bit of IIM-Calcutta in every home. This was how the dean of academic affairs introduced the B-school at the freshers' welcome for the 54th PGDM batch on Friday afternoon.
IIM Calcutta has emerged as the new No 1 B-school in Rankings 2016-17, edging out IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Bangalore. IIM Calcutta is the only Indian B-school that has earned all the top three Global Accreditations – AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA. XLRI, MDI and SPJIMR are Top 3 non-IIM B-schools on the rankings.
Applications are invited for faculty positions in the following areas of specialization - (a) Urban Studies, (b) Health, and (c) Education – in the Public Policy and Management Group of IIM Calcutta. The candidates must have a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline, with first class in the previous degree, and an excellent teaching and research record. The candidates must have demonstrable ability to teach compulsory courses and offer elective courses in his/her area of expertise in various academic programs of the Institute.
The Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (IIM-C) has introduced a one-year residential Post-Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management (PGCHM), tailor-made for the healthcare practitioners and administrators.
The PGCHM is designed to impart cutting edge management education to trained healthcare professionals from varying domains.
