My professional career started with Ennore Manufacturing Plant of Ashok Leyland Limited, Chennai. I had an opportunity to work in Product and Process Governance Department as a Manager, where I managed various Quality Issues in Assembly Line and Resolved Field Failure issues for Engines and Gear Box. The role includes Managing Projects and Managing Stakeholders, Conducting Technical Audits and Escalation of Critical Issues to Senior Management etc .
Post VLM Ambition
After VLM, I hope to work with Consulting or any Leading OEM’s in the country, where I can combine my previous job experience with the managerial and leadership abilities I've gained from this VLM program, to improve the efficacy and efficiency of corporate processes.
VLM Experience So Far
The PGPEX-VLM curriculum combines Technical, Management, and Leadership development. IIM Calcutta, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Madras are three prestigious institutes with rich histories and extensive experience. These institutions have expanded my awareness and knowledge of many procedures in any industry. My ability to comprehend the various factors that go into any Industrial decision - Financial, Design, Environmental, Profit, Welfare, etc. In addition, I have benefited greatly from the cohort of students with a variety of professional experiences. Group projects, Case Studies & Preparations and Individual Tasks helped me develop my cooperation, collaboration and teamwork skills.

In a world brimming with chemicals and opportunities, I stepped into the realm of Manufacturing Industries as a Chemical Engineer. As an Assistant Production Manager at Tata Chemicals Ltd, I transformed from a curious graduate engineer to a manager and developed professionally. I have worked rotational shifts at the Soda Ash Manufacturing facility in Mithapur, Gujarat. Acquiring proficiency in the fundamentals of Lean Six Sigma methodologies helped me grab the opportunities to lead High Business Impact Projects for Operational Excellence, Waste Reduction, and Digitalization. Apart from high monetary benefits, these projects also won competitions such as First runner-up position in the 16th National Six Sigma Competition, held by the Confederation of Indian Industries, and first in the Champion of Change event in the Nxt Gen Category, held by Tata Chemicals Ltd. In the rigor of professional chores and desires, I managed to involve myself in Extracurricular such as running for half marathons, volunteering for social causes, hosting events, and competing in Dance and Singing competitions, ensuring I have holistic experiences.

Post VLM Ambition:
Post VLM, I would like to return to the manufacturing industry in an operation or supply chain role. I commenced my career with Renault Nissan as a Product Designer in the BIW division, where I developed expertise in new product design and development, project management, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration, contributing to both local and global projects. I then transitioned to Alstom Transportation, a leading rolling stock company, as a Bogie Designer, where I led design and development activities for bogie components across diverse local and global projects. Through these experiences, I honed my skills in managing complex projects, driving successful outcomes, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results.
Post VLM Ambition
Post VLM, I aspire to transition into leadership roles within OEMs, where I can leverage my technical expertise from previous experiences and combine it with the management and leadership skills acquired through this program. I aim to secure project leadership and product strategy positions, enabling me to drive business growth, foster innovation, and make a significant impact. By merging my technical acumen with leadership capabilities, I intend to become a viable candidate for companies seeking young leaders to join their leadership teams and drive success in the industry.

Over the past 6.5 years, I have gained diverse experiences across various sectors, having worked with global conglomerates, a Navratna PSU, and unicorn startups. My career has taken me across the country, where I have had the privilege of contributing to EPC and defense projects for prestigious clients, including the Indian Army, Airforce, and leading steel and power producers. In my most recent role as Central Planning Manager at NoBroker Technologies Solution Private Limited, I was responsible for monitoring and controlling 150 projects across India, collaborating closely with the CRM team to ensure successful project outcomes.
Post VLM Ambitions:
Post the program, I aspire to take on roles in consulting or product management. My goal is to leverage my extensive experience and the techno-managerial skills acquired during the VLM program to drive impactful and efficient business solutions.

I began my professional career in Process and Quality Control within the Extrusion division of Hindalco Industries Limited, gradually advancing to roles in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. Throughout my tenure, I had the opportunity to work on several new product development initiatives, collaborating closely with both internal teams and external customers. My experience includes spearheading digitization projects such as the implementation of a QR code material tracking system and an Isothermal Temperature close loop system.
The core domains of my responsibilities have spanned New Product Development, Process and Quality Control, Customer Relationship Management, Business Development, and Sales Forecasting. This diverse experience has equipped me with a robust skill set and a deep understanding of the dynamics that drive industrial success.
