Arnab Bhattacharya completed his dissertation titled “Three Essays on Initial Public Offerings: Evidence from India” under the guidance of Prof. B. B. Chakrabarti. His doctoral thesis examined IPO mechanisms, and analyzed liquidity and adverse selection risk issues in IPO aftermarkets at a high frequency level. Arnab has received the Best Paper Award at IMR Doctoral Conference 2013 at IIM Bangalore.
Before joining the doctoral program, he was working with UBS Investment Bank on origination, valuation and execution of several public as well as private capital market offerings. He joined IIM Indore as an Assistant Professor in 2015. His current teaching interests include Corporate Finance and Capital Markets. His current research interests include Corporate Finance and Market Microstructure.
