SKF India has appointed Manish Bhatnagar as Managing Director of the company for a period of five years with effect from August 16. The company’s board, which met on Tuesday, also accepted the resignation of Carl Orstadius as Managing Director and Director of the company from August 16. Bhatnagar’s rich experience in firms such as Danaher Corporation, Underwriters Laboratories Inc and General Electric will be an asset for SKF, Rakesh Makhija, CMD, said in a statement. Shares of SKF India ended down 0.26 per cent at ₹1,723.15 on the NSE, and flat at ₹1,719 on the BSE.
