Intaglio, IIM Calcutta’s annual International Business School Summit, is one of the largest B-school summits in Asia. With over INR 2 million to be won as prize money, Intaglio witnesses the best minds in the country and abroad coming together to battle it out every year in January, attracting participation from world-renowned institutions.
With due focus on entrepreneurship, social engagement and change, Intaglio ’14 (2nd January – 5th January) presents The Young Leadership Edition. In the backdrop of changing global economic and social paradigms, it recognizes the need for young leadership and envisions promising times ahead, reflecting in the theme – “Young Leaders…Seizing the Reins”. Intaglio ’14 will truly live up to the adage of being ‘bigger and better every year’ with over 2500 registered teams, a whopping budget exceeding 65 lakh rupees, and a truly global footprint reaching 233 B-schools in India and 35 abroad.
The summit would kick off with a high profile inauguration on 2nd January by Mr. TV Narendran, Managing Director, Tata Steel and Ad Guru Mr. Prahlad Kakkar. It shall be followed by Sunehra Kal, a felicitation of underprivileged girl students. The next three days would see a slew of events the initial buzz of which would be augmented by a Run-for-a-Cause Marathon with IIMC students and faculty members sending out a strong social message championing child rights. A Corporate Dinner with some leading corporate executives at Taj Bengal would be a highlight for the top 80 B-school students.
