A Short Films aka Reels Competition
The Management Center for Human Values (MCHV), in collaboration with The International Humanistic Management Association (India Chapter), is thrilled to announce the inaugural Short Films aka Reels Competition for the IIMC community. This initiative aims to foster creativity and engagement while raising awareness about MCHV’s mission and contributions.
All IIM-C affiliates are invited to compete to win prizes for making Reels aka very short films about topics related to Management Center for Human Values.
Best Reel prize is INR 5000 plus two runners up each will be awarded INR 1500
Management Center for Human Values (MCHV) is hosting this inaugural competition to reward creativity and learning about MCHV, its purpose, people and publications. MCHV is located in the heart of IIM-C campus in specially designed retreat-like buildings with a unique library, surrounded by a contemplative garden. It was founded by Prof. Chakraborty in 1997 (check date) to enrich management with Indian values of four thinkers: Rabindranath Tagore, Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi and Swami Aurobindo. Over the years, many thought leaders, scholars and practitioners have offered lectures and workshops. MCHV publishes the Journal Human Values (JHV).
Reels Competition Create and submit a Reel, a very short film, for a chance to win an award.
Competition Highlights:
- Who Can Participate: All IIMC affiliates (students, fellows, faculty, and staff).
- Submission Deadline: January 26, 2025, midnight.
- Prizes:
- Best Reel Prize: INR 5000
- Two Runners-Up Prizes: INR 1500 each
- Theme: Reels should creatively showcase MCHV’s work, values, or impact (e.g., architecture, thought leaders, personal experiences, events, etc.).
